Recall started: Pieces of wire could be in red cabbage from Kaufland
The Kaufland food retail chain is calling “K-Classic Delikatess Rotkohl” back. Pieces of wire could be in individual jars of a particular batch, which could result in injury if consumed.

The department store chain Kaufland calls “K-Classic Delikatess Rotkohl”, filling quantity: 680 g, drained weight: 650 g, lot identification: EAN 4300175162333 with the best before date 31.12.2020 and the batch ML3 L6287, all times (printed on the edge of the lid). "It cannot be completely excluded that there are pieces of wire in individual glasses of the product mentioned, which can lead to injuries when consumed," the company wrote in a press release.
Affected goods removed from sale
According to their own statements, Kaufland has already taken the affected goods out of sale.
K-Classic delicacy red cabbage with other best before dates and batches are not affected.
Consumers can return the product in any country of purchase - even without presenting the receipt - for a refund of the purchase price.
