No immediate health risk
As the portal "lebensmittelwarnung.de" of the federal states and the Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety reports, a total of 14 out of 16 federal states are affected - this does not include Schleswig-Holstein and the Saarland.
According to the company, the products pose no immediate health hazard. Customers are still advised not to consume the affected goods.
“Customers can return the goods in the respective market. You will be reimbursed the purchase price, ”writes the meat manufacturer.
The affected products have been taken out of sale.
In food production, contamination can occur again and again due to errors in the manufacturing processes. A milk recall for cleaning agents was only started at Rewe in July. (ad)
